Swiss International Vocational Training School, in coordination with the Swiss education plan for the ordinance on basic vocational training for Computer Scientists (EFZ), implements practice-oriented courses similar to projects in the regular labor market, which are necessary for successful vocational training.
The training lasts 3 or 4 years and is based on the Swiss dual training principle whereby practical and theoretical training run in parallel; thus, enabling an optimal theoretical-practical integration of the acquired knowledge.
Students attend technical classes one or two days a week to acquire the basic theoretical knowledge. They also attend workshops to deepen their knowledge.
The theoretical element of the training takes place on the premises of the Swiss International Vocational Training School and the practical skills are developed when working on productive projects in the regular labor market.
Students work on orders from internal and external clients and implement projects for clients in the areas of Application development, web design, graphics, system engineering, server and network technology, ICT security, etc.
